Tara Manzari

My name is Tara Manzari, I’m 19 years old and I’ll be a sophomore at UMBC for the 2018-2019 school year. I’m currently studying biochemistry and music with plans to go on to medical school. I love Persian dance and am both honored and excited to be working alongside Elica jaan this year, which I hope will be the first of many. I’ve been dancing since I could remember, and I’m truly excited to be getting a chance to be teaching it. I love dancing, writing, playing violin and traveling. I’m ecstatic to be teaching, meeting, and working with all the dancers this year. I can’t wait to see what we’re going to do.

Elika Semnani

My name is Elica Semnani, I’m 18 years old, and I will be a freshman at Montgomery college where I will be majoring in Government and Politics. I am very excited to be teaching dance this year alongside my good friend Tara! I have always loved Iranian dance I have been in Persian Dance Troupe since I was eight years old. I love camping, reading, writing, and traveling. I’m really looking forward to meeting you all and getting to know your dancers! I know this is going to be a great year and I can’t wait!
