Iran Arbabi Scholarship Fund

The Iran Arbabi Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to students of Iranian descent entering or attending an accredited post-secondary institution.  

Eligibility: Applicants must:

1. Be a U.S. citizen or be lawfully residing in the United States.
2. Attend an accredited college or university of their choice in the state of Maryland, Virginia, or the District of Columbia.
3. Excel academically.
4. Have a verifiable record of participating in activities within the Persian community, promoting Persian culture or continuing education in Persian culture (literature, language or history…)

Important Dates:

March 27, 2017 – ICEC starts accepting applications for the 2017-2018 academic year.

May 1, 2017 – Final postmarked deadline, to be considered for the 2017-2018 Scholarship Program.

برای همکاری با کمیته برگزار کننده جشن نوروز، خواهشمند است بلیت های خود را ازتاریخ یازده (۱۱) تا بیست وپنجم (۲۵) فوریه در مرکز تهیه کنید. در روزجشن، ۱۱ مارس، بلیت موجود نخواهد بود. 

 به علت محدودیت مکان برنامه، اولویت با دانش آموزان مرکز و خانواده آنها است.برای دوستان و دیگر افراد خانواده می توانید نام و شمار بلیت های مورد نظر خود را در مرکز در لیست انتظار بنویسید.

Celebrates the Iranian New Year

The tickets will be available at school on February 11th. Due to limited space, the priority is given to current students and their immediate family members. Please get  your tickets from Feb. 11^th  to Feb. 25^th at school. You may also, order tickets for other family members and friends at school.

Due to inclement weather conditions all community activities in public facilities have been canceled until 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 17th, as a result ICEC classes will not be held on December 17th.  PDT practice sessions is also CANCELED.  ICEC will be closed the next two weeks, December 24th and 31st, for the winter break. We will celebrate Yalda on January 7th when we resume classes.

We will celebrate Yalda on January 7th when we resume classes.

Yalda Celebration

Dear Parents,

Community and School Association of Iran Cultural and Educational Center (ICEC) and the instructional staff invites you to attend annual Yalda Celebration. This program aims to familiarize students with this ancient celebration.

We encourage students to dress in traditional outfits.
